The Renaissance of a Palace

When it was built in the 16th century, the palace was originally home to rich merchants, the Dahhan family. Like many other buildings of its type, the palace consequently lapsed into ruins until 1996 when two couples from France and Switzerland, bought the collective properties. They had fallen in love with Aleppo and wanted to restore the palace to its former magnificence as tribute to such a mesmerising city.

The palace is now owned by Bilad Al Sham Hotels SA (The Levantine Hotel Group)
