The Byzantine

Byzantine art, although originally almost entirely concerned with religious expression, became a formative influence on Italian renaissance art in the 12th century and later spread to Eastern Europe. Examples of original Byzantine architecture can be found as diversely as Egypt and Arabia to Russia and Romania.  The artistic pedigree has filtered into sublime luxury and decadence, teamed with the use of traditional mosaics, textiles and metallic woodwork.  The suite also enjoys a terrace for morning sun.
